Try Geiger Key at mile maker 11. They have 35 sites and it is like the Old Florida Keys. $132 daily rate and $105 off season. They have a really great restaurant in the campgrounds and on the weekends live Island music. We've not stayed there but have eaten there. Have stayed there once, the restaurant is the best part of the operation. Have a great Sunday specials. Not impressed with the campground. After reserving a spot for a week, we arrived to be told that the prices had gone up. If this is normal, we have never had this happen before. Also, and this might have been a temporary situation, not sure, but within an hour our dog was covered in fleas. What a hassle. Took weeks to get rid of them. Camp sites are small and it is basically a gravel lot with small lots. It is right on the water.
