We've been to Knoebel's & Hershey during mid summer, though Hershey had the bigger ticket rides we found it absolutely packed where we were waiting for over an hour to 1 1/2 hrs for their rides (and this was during the weekday) just wasn't a fun experience.
Knoebel's seemed more family style, place was clean, wasn't a zoo and the rides were very enjoyable.
