Knoxville area

Heading to Florida on I-75 end of November. First night near Knoxville. Any good CG's around Knoxville easy on/off for a night. Have a 5th wheel and just want a nights stay without unhooking.
  • We have used the at Georgia I75 exit 352? Just south of the TN/GA line. It’s just off the exit and the have large pull through sites. It is KOA Chattanooga South. Sorry I’m my phone and don’t know how to link from it.

  • Have stayed in both the Clinton KOA and the Raccoon Valley Escapees park. Either one would be fine for an overnight stay. The KOA is closer to the interstate, Raccoon Valley is cheaper if you are an Escapees member (we are). Little further from I-75 and kind of a windy road, but easily navigated.
  • Looking over your options it looks like the KOA at Clinton is your best bet for size of site. Reading about others in the area the reviews say their sites are tight. Call a couple of them.
  • We were at a rally and spent a week at the Clinton KOA, easy on and off and a clean friendly campground. The Golden Girls restaurant was a nice place to eat also.
  • Ditto Volunteer RV park

That is our last stop going north on way home from FL. Can be a little tight for some of the turns inside park but most sites are concrete pads so leveling is seldom and issue.
