I always add a few feet to our length when reserving or talking to any CG.
We find the site size problems at Campground's from time to time.
Many now have info on the web with actual length and width dimensions which helps a lot when looking for a CG.
Also sites like http://www.rvparkreviews.com help a lot.
Trust me it is not KOA, it happens at any CG, it has more to do with the owners and operators of the CG than being a franchise CG.
