Don't really care what 'other' people notice. I pay for a pull thru site. What I put into it is of no ones' business and that goes for the CG mgr also.
You don't pay by the foot for pull thru sites. A pull thru is a pull thru. Because CG's do tend to use the squeeze factor I "always' add several feet to my over length to 'ensure' I will fit. The CG gets its 30 bucks whether there is a Prevost on the site or a TT.
When I am pulling off the road for just the night I don't have the time or patience to screw around with a pull thru that I don't fit in period.
X2 I have tended to lie a bit also. I want the best I can get and I like space. I am paying the same as someone with a 40 footer. I dont care about a Campground wanting to squeeze you into smaller sites to get the place as full as possible. Its my time off, what little I get and it matters to me.
When I had the TT (22 footer), I would reserve that I had a 40 footer so I could stay hooked up for those 1 nighters. The neighbors appreciated it also when all I had to do was pull in and hook up the power cord, especially late evenings
