Lake Havasu, Az places to stay?

Question

How do you like Lk Havasu? Are there any nice 55+ Rv parks or 55+ housing developments? We are going to stay for a few weeks there and go to Surprise, AZ for a month and see their 55+ RV parks, if any, and then go to our lot in the RGV for the rest of the winter.

We stay south of Lake Havasu next to the Colo river. Have for 10 years. A couple of weeks in the dessert I would go nuts.

LH is a great place to winter with many things to do and see. It's geared for baby boomers and there are lots of events and attractions. It's a city that is not too big but has most of the amenities people want. There are lots of places to stay between LH and Parker that are very nice too.

We stay at Crazy Horse not for the amenities but for the wonderful people that stay there.
