I hear you. Used to visit Lake in Wood back in the early 2000's. Love it, wife loved it, kids loved it. Great Pool area, enjoyed the little cafeteria. It was clean, etc, etc, etc. Now I live in Kansas, but my sister's family visits Lake in Wood once a year. Still still love it.
You do have a big boy rig. With that size, I personally would not travel back into the wooded sites, but would choose the open area sites around 113-118 area. Easy pull thru sites, yet close to pool and their store.
Every place has its issues...Lake in Wood isnt exempt. The world has definitely changed, even for RVers. And not necessarly for the better.
Honestly, with all the trouble in the world today, the Book of Revelations is already upon us. But, you still have to live your life. Keep it between the lines! Be safe.
