Lake Mineral Wells State Park

Ive been camping there countless times and havent really found a bad site. There arent that many "great" sites either

the live oak camping loop is what i usually prefer

Here is a link to an album of pictures from the last time we were at Mineral Wells SP. Make sure you get a site in the lower loop and any of those would easily hold a trailer of your size. We loved the waterfront sites.

By the way, we live in Rockwall as well just a couple of blocks from Nebbie Williams school, just north of The Shores. You might also want to check out the North Texas Camping Association (NTXCA) which is a family oriented camping club that has monthly campouts. They also have a Yahoo group which is their main site. This weekend they have 30 families at Beavers Bend SP in Oklahoma.
