You are correct. Another senior moment. I haven't been back to Raystown Lake since 2008. We have only stayed at Seven Points.

If you are not into water activities are there other things to do in the area?
I always hated when my bass club had tournaments at Raystown, it was so isolated and convoluted to get there, so if you don't like sitting in the trees near a nice lake Raystown is not the place to go.
if you want gettysburg or flight 93? memorial, etc. there are more accessible places to stay.

- spoon059Explorer IIWe camp with friends at Lake Raystown Resort. Its a beautiful park with great sites on the water. We stayed for 4 days last year and will be there over Memorial Day weekend this year, and then for a full week in August. The water is clean, you can fish, swim, boat, water ski, etc. The grounds are quite hilly, so biking isn't that great with the kids.
- DrbolaskyExplorerIn any case, book early at CG's in this area. They tend to be full on weekends.

Very beautiful lake and nice campground. Also, very good fishing. It is a Corps of Engineers lake and CG. Reservations have to be made through a federal agency; I can't remember the name of the agency.
The good sites next to the water are usually fully booked in early January. The CG is usually full on weekends. Sorry, I am out-of-state at the moment and do not have my information available to be of more help.
It is a very pretty mountain setting. Wishing you the best.
There are two COE campgrounds on that lake. Herre is a link: Campgrounds - RGar974417ExplorerThere is also a private resort campground with a marina. We stayed there many years ago.I believe it's called Lake Raystown Resort.
- BumpyroadExplorerone nice feature about Raystown is that they have no wake zones in lots of the arms so you can fish in semi solitude.
