Lake Winnipesaukee
Anyone know of any campgrounds near Lake Winnipesaukee in NH? Looking for a pretty stay. Danforth Bay camping and RV? Thanks.

- Harbor Hill Campground (hhcamp.com) was very nice. It's about 10 minutes from downtown Meredith. You can't see the lake from the campground, but a short walk up the road provides very nice scenic views. It's also close to beaches and Center Harbor.
- Ellacoya State Park is right on the lake.It has a very nice beach. Danforth Bay is nice but not really near Winni. We also like Meredith Woods which isn't right on the lake but it's close.
There's a new park in Alton called Turtle Kraal. It gets good ratings but I haven't seen it. Again not on the lake.
