Lancaster Pa

Thinking of stoping somewhere in or near lancaster on the way home from picking up our rv. We will not have a car due to flying out and driving back. Any recommendations.
  • GDC, Excellent point, and additionally might I add that speed limits within the general area seem rather high, all things considered. We have in the past stayed at Old Millstream, and felt it was a fine CG. However, typical sprawl has made staying there undesirable, so moving closer to rural Amish country took us east of Lancaster.

We visit the area almost every fall in early October, and now stay at Roamer's in Kinzers. Their main entrance is no piece of cake to exit either, but the side road passing in front of the 'Implements' allows us to avoid Rt 30. After all, we have no interest in visiting the homogenous establishments that fill the streets of everywhere USA. We love the old side roads filled with Amish farms, many of which have rather simple roadside stands.
  • Country Acres just left there nice people good power , water pressure ,and Cable. A little noisy from rt. 30
  • Lancaster? Lake in Wood for sure!!!!

Oak Creek is ok if you don't mind the sound of the drag strip a mile away.
