LAND BORDER DUE TO OPEN EARLY NOVEMBER

There's going to be a lot of happy Canadians heading south this winter again according to the latest news released a good half hour or so ago.

US to open Land Borders between Canada and Mexico to double vaccinated folks. More info to follow on Wednesday, so be interesting to see what testing or restrictions get placed on travellers.

Wondering what the travel insurance costs for snowbirds and the amount of coverage if adequate will be moving forwards.

Here's to a warmer winter this year for many.

    Glad it's open though. Now we can have our usual winter here of jammed up traffic, waiting in line at restaurants, and crowded state park campgrounds where everyone goes to bed at 5:30 PM.


    The government tracks all deaths and publishes the data. None of the various causes dipped by much, and yet an additional 700,000 people died.

    Unless you think the previous administration AND all of the Counties and States conspired to fudge the numbers…….

    Statistics say about 36,000 people die per year in car accidents in the US.

    In the past year about 720,000 people died of COVID.

    That’s about TWENTY years worth of car accidents deaths in just ONE year.

    Herewegojoe, As per The NY Times, NO TESTING requirements. Just proof you have been double vaccinated. A whole new world is opening up for the vaccinated!!

    As of yesterday:

    9,695,610 active cases.
