More on Oddities ... we enjoyed taking our grandson (age 4) to Metropolis, KY, the home of Superman. He loves superheros, and Superman is right up there. It wasn't a long stop, but a great lunch/break during a long drive.
We live within 15 minutes of Casey, IL, so the large oddities there aren't really new for us. :) Time to get out the travel trailer, dust off the truck and GO CAMPING!!!
