Las Vegas Motorcoach Resort

I am getting ready to book a week for next May at the Las Vegas Motorcoach Resort. For anyone who has stayed there, is it worth the extra $20 a night to get one of the premium sites with the outdoor kitchen?
  • Guess it depends on your life style. We end up eating buffets in Vegas. Get their member card for free and you get the 10% discount. We like Boulder hwy away from he strip crowds. Some places $82 a week rv parks. We pay a little more at AZ Charlies.
  • I've stayed there several times and in my opinion no. I carry my own grill, however you don't even get a picnic table which is kind of surprising to me. We just grill and eat in our loumge chairs.
Might be worth it if your going to be doing a lot of entertaining. Make sure if you do that you can use everything.
VERY NICE RESORT THOUGH one of the nicest we stay at.
  • We stayed there a couple of years back, and yes, I would opt for the upgraded site, not for the outdoor kitchen but for the fact that the basic sites ($75.00 or so at the time) didn't even have a cheap picnic table. We were there in February and most of the amenities were closed up. Pretty dang expensive for a parking pad without any outside seating, pools and golf course closed and Wifi that didn't work. It's a nice park, but was not a good deal by any means.
  • I think Wyotraveler is right; it's up to your lifestyle. We have stayed there amny times, and would never think about a deluxe site, as we like to eat at the casinos, and never Bar-b-que. But, you are going to have to weigh the options for your style.

We are going to a wedding and spending lots of time in town. Don't plan on doing any cooking just thought the extra room would be nice.
  • Well, then book the bigger space. The only thing you have to loose is $20, so go for it. The resort is really lovely. Nice to walk around, nice clubhouse, great location (near Target, etc.). You cannot go wrong.
  • If you were going to stay a month or longer it would be worth it. Especially in May. Less then a month or in the winter I would consider Oasis RV on the other side of the freeway. We stayed there once, Sam's Town on Boulder x2 and Oasis x3. Now we pretty much stay at Oasis exclusively and enjoy it.
