Where is best place (safest) for one or two nights of blacktop boondocking in or near Las Vegas? Thanks Nick

It is hot in vegas so boondocking will require you to run the generator to keep cool, and at say 1/2 gallon of gas per hour, you will burn 4 gallons at $4.00 a gallon it will cost you a minimum of $16.00 for 8 hours, ad $20.00 for 10 hours. I would find a RV park and have hookups and keep cool without the noise and exhaust of the gen set. Just my opinion
