Leaving house with septic system over winter
A question for those who live on acreages with septic system in Cold Areas.... We are just going to move onto an acreage and am wondering if my system will freeze up. My son will be staying there...

Ya I have an access manhole cover that melts too. Its seems like an important note that my latitude is northern MA....I have no experience with colder places. My peak cold is -10 to -20 for a small number of days.
