I forgot the battery disconnect, but it will be dead in no time at all if you do.
Also I'll fill out my prior list with two more things just to be complete. It's up to you if you want to do it or not.
If where you store the rig the tires are on "Caliche" (Mexican gravel, I have no clue how to spell it) then put boards under the tires. The gravel will hold the heat (or something?) and will shorten the lifespan of the tires.
Second, if you have a 5'ver then put some big pads under the front legs. A few years back a hurricane came threw the RGV and flooded many of the storage yards. Some of the 5'vers buried their legs into the ground when it became soft.
The above info is what I learnt from a friend that delivers/store/setup trailers down in the RGV. It's also what I do.
