I'm glad I've lived long enough to see that weed is *finally* becoming mainstream and acceptable.
Since the 60s I've witnessed people's lives being ruined by going to jail for it, and I cringed every time I saw it. That's the real danger of weed: getting busted. So I just can't help thinking it's about time. Governments can now start realizing the tax revenue, and not only that, but stopping spending billions on law enforcement. We've had 50 years of prohibition, and it hasn't been pretty.
Good job Colorado and Washington!
