My daughter (age 38) got a new job in December. She noted that on the 'drug test' form, one of the screening items which would disqualify a person from employment was alcohol over 1/2 the legal driving limit.
The company I worked for from 1997-2008 had a similar policy when they did random drug testing.
I think it is becoming more common to also test for alcohol.
The problem is that THC remains detectable much longer than alcohol.
