Would appreciate any info on this campground. Want to stay a couple nights in Jul but can't seem to reserve a site with electric (apparently only a few). DW likes A/C but I'm not sure that it will be ...

I am wondering if you are thinking of Missouri Headwaters State Park which is close to Lewis and Clark Caverns State Park. I have stayed at Headwaters and had the same experience but over at Lewis and Clark Caverns have not had that problem. Both can be hot depending on when you visit.
