- Alpine Bay RV Resort in Alpine, Cheaha State Park, Lakeside Landing in Pell City and if you really want to be in the forest Coleman Lake Campground in the Talladega National Forest. There are several along I20 but are more long term residents and a little run down. Welcome to my backyard.
Just thought of two others, Talladega Creekside Campground which is small but I've seen toy haulers in there, very quiet area, 1/2 mile from my house and right on beautiful Cheaha creek. Camping World has a campground in Oxford but sits right on I20. - Safe Harbor is kinda plain if I remember right but on the lake.
