- azrvingExplorerI cant answer your question exactly without searching myself. As I understand it you cant buy controlled substances without a scrip and this includes some strong antibiotics.
- bighatnohorseExplorer IIQuestion might get better response in the RVing in Mexico forum section.
Some prescriptions are sold in Spanish and manufactured by a different maker, so you may have trouble finding a proper cross reference. - darsben1ExplorerWhat you can buy and what you can bring back are 2 different questions.
Example; Tramadol a class 2 narcotic is available Over the counter. It is illegal to bring back to USA.
Perhaps if you ask about specific RX's someone can answer. - azrvingExplorer
- The_TexanExplorerDarsben1 basically answered your question. It's not what you can purchase, it's what can legally be brought back. The CBP here have said they will only stop a controlled drug. So if your drug is NOT a controlled Rx, then your pretty safe on bringing it back. Remember one thing though, the CBP pays a reward for information leading to the arrest of anyone trying to bring back a controlled substance and the Mexican counter help at the Pharmacias know this, so don't even try it.
- DannyAExplorerCan you buy online from the Mexican Pharmacy's?
If so what are some good sites to go.
I will not be able to get to Mexico but would like to try their medicines online. Thanks for any suggestions. Not interested in the ones from India or other countries. - 2gypsies1Explorer III

That's strange.... why Mexico and not India? Are you aware that the U.S. drug companies manufacture in many countries? - DannyAExplorerReason not to want to use pharmacy's from India, calls. Haven't bought from them in a few years but still get almost daily calls from them, you can't get them to stop. I don't want to be on their lists.
- rockhillmanorExplorerThey did an undercover news story on how the meds are made from India and it was real real bad. They found concrete, sand etc in the meds! I would NEVER buy anything from India.
I have gotten Synthroid from Mexico and my friends gets their insulin from Mexico. Each store has different items you have to go into each store.
My meds here are $150.00 for a months supply, Mexico was $2.00. Same stuff and they are made in a real pharmaceutical facility. Unlike India where they are made in someones stone house basement.
