Lo siento, no hablo español

I listed my RV on the McAllen, Texas Craigslist but left off the above words. Three calls today and all hung up when I could not reply to their questions in Spanish. I really don't know, and won't know, if they were serious shoppers or not. I am not complaining, that is just the way of the world in the Rio Grande Valley of Texas.

    I advertised in English and added the subject phrase when I realized that most callers expected me as the seller to be able to talk Spanish. The phrase simply states that I do not speak Spanish. I was not all that upset, just surprised.

    If they REALLY wanted it, they would get someone to translate for them. Something so little as language is not going to stop a serious person who is actively looking.

    So did you list on Craigslist in Spanish? If so, you should be able to answer the questions.
