Lolo Hot Springs Resort and RV Park

Getting ready for another season of traveling. Just wanted to let everyone know about last years experience at Lolo Hot Springs. My husband went into the office to see about an RV space. The young lady at the counter gave him a card to fill out (name, address, truck license number) he paid for the site in cash and as he was heading out the door, she says "Oh - I need a credit card". When my husband wouldn't give her a card, we were asked to leave. They did give us our cash back. I always thought cash was legal tender? Guess not in Idaho!

Why is it.. so many first-time posters (and often only time) complain about some park??

Perhaps a competitor? Maybe not in this case, but certainly others. It does seem odd a first post is a complaint.....

We are seeing a lot of these posts since after failing to pay 6.2 million to bond holders Affinity changed their name to GS and they took over all the companies and the forum.

They now post the link to this forum on their websites that is anything and everything RV related on ALL the companies that they own.

Which now means millions and millions read this forum, and are encouraged to use this link. Just another good reason not to put 'any' of your personal info up. :W
  • A little surprised by many of the previous responses. I pay with cash most of the time and have never been asked for a credit card. Can't help but wonder why.
