Lompoc, CA Elks lodge

Looking for comments on a possible RV stay at Lompoc Elks lodge. Anyone have any input? Can't find any reviews of this particular lodge.

According to my Elks iPad app, RV Parking is available for 15 RVs with 30A elec. and water at each site. Can accommodate up to 40' long. Nightly rate is $15. There is a free dump station on site. I Google Earth'd the address.... looks pretty reasonable for Elks Lodge parking ... half the sites back right on to a street... don't know how busy that is .. or noisy.

--edited add-- according to my AllStays Camp&RV app, it rates pretty good ... 4 stars. Has dedicated dog area ... nice camp host ... easy pull in to Elks Lodge .... RV Store right next door is convenient.
  • Didn't know there is an Elks app. I do know about the webpage on the Elks website that lists lodges with RV sites. And that's where I found the Lompoc lodge listed. I also looked it up on Google maps satellite view. Looks good. I just wanted to hear from someone who actually stayed there to confirm. So thanks for the review from AllStays. That helps.

BTW, how do you like your Allegro? I've looked at the 34TGA online and really like the layout...similar to my current MH.
  • You might want to check out RVillage Elks for participating Elk Lodges along with a list of their amenities. Members are encouraged to put their location on the forum map so other Elks can see their location and get together for meet-and-greets. There's a second Elks
Group you might want to check out. Look around both of the Elks forums and see what you think. You might decide to join RVillage.

My Bad. I just looked at my "Elks App" and realized my shortcut took me to the Elks.org website...same as you probably went to... so not an app. Sorry bout that. Generally, AllAtays Camp&RV is my go-to app for all things RV Travel.
As far as my Allegro goes, we love it. It is exactly what we had been thinking about in the prior years when we had a Safari Trek. Going on 3 years of ownership and no problems at all... drives like a dream, too.
  • Pismo Lodge has very nice RV sites 2 blocks from the beach entrance, Mexican restaurant short walk also, nice grassy park to walk dogs on the way.
  • Thanks for the suggestion Strabo. But I'm looking to stay in or close to Santa Barbara. May stay at the SB Elks lodge, or Lompoc to visit some other areas as well.

I have been to the SB lodge one time and it will be the last. The sites are small and it is the most unfriendly lodge I have ever been in
