I have to say again, I've never seen a Ranger in the wild. We have lived surrounded by BLM land for 5 and a half years and the only BLM personal we've seen were volunteers here to count the blades of grass in a given area to determine when the land would be opened up to grazing. I did see one FS Ranger picking up trash at a equestrian campground but that was hardly the "wild". The land is just too vast to patrol, especially for BLM. That said, I do believe that drones will soon be patrolling the wild. ;)
