Wow, lots of really good posts in this thread. Here's a few comments ......
Dan, respectfully, I don't see how purchasing some sort of "Pass" will take care of illegally dumping trash in our forests.
Naio has some really good points as well as others along Naio's train of thought.
I did some research into the sites that were mentioned in the article. This is a 'Homeless' issue, not boondockers trashing the forests, boondockers are getting the bad rap.
Those of us that live in (or have lived in) the big cities have the same problem but these folks don't have freeway overpasses to camp under, all they have is the forest.
Enforcement by the local Sheriff's Office is the way to handle things with community outreach as well.
