Dan ... that comment got me thinking. Perhaps the powers that be will make the connection and close off only places easy to get to from urban areas?
From some of your trip reports, you boondock a lot "way out there" where the trashers can't get to or won't make the effort to get to. Thankfully, those kind of areas may never get ruined or closed due to the kind of folks who enjoy them.
(However, we once took our RV to a rock quarry out in the middle of nowhere in the Utah desert and even out there behind the facility halfway up a high hill exposed to the weather was a Class C motorhome that had been abandoned a few years ago!)
