That is exactly why I posted it.
Long Key was always every ones second choice after Bahia Honda when it came to the state parks on the Keys.
I for one loved sitting on the beach 20 feet from the back of our travel trailer reading a book while looking over the wide expanse of the Atlantic.
For the past fifteen years, we have scored two or three two week stays there every winter, but I am sure with a sea wall, it will never have the natural charm that it had before.
