He can also fish right from his RV site. Just wade out in the water and cast.

Each site has trees and shrubs between it and the next and each site backs up to the Atlantic.
Unfortunately, the ocean has been rising in that area over the years, and now at high tide there is only a foot or two of beach between the high tide line and the tiny foot high dune.

Yes we use Long Key every winter and will be there again this year.
When he leaves the park tell him to turn left and peddle less than a mile on the paved bike path to a long bridge that has a wide biking and walking section that goes all the way across. It even has special juts outs made just for the fishermen.

He also can rent a kayak at the park and fish from it.
