The national forest campgrounds are usually paved, with cul de sac turnarounds. Check forestcamping.com for length limits at each campground.
He is pulling a 34' fifth wheel with a 4x4 2500. He will have no problem turning around if he knows his combo's limitations. I maneuver my 30' TT through the trees without problems.
