Problems I have had are with Ca at least and from what I've found, Oregon as well, often no signage is ever placed to let you know Yes or No for free or BLM camping. I use coordinates, G Earth and GPS but still often have no clue if I am where I think I am...
Is this just a part of the boondocking game...? Shame if true!
