Looking for nice park near Wilkes-Barre,PA

Francis Slocum would be the closest state park but there are others like Tobyhanna,Hickory Run and Promised Land.Promised Land has full hookups in their Pickeral Point campground.

If you are looking for a campground, there is a decent one at exit 53 off 84 in Pa just before you cross the Delaware river into NY...Tri-State campground...bottom of ramp, straight thru light and down the road pass Home Depot to the end...normally you can see it from 84 as you go past...OR..if you just want a dump area....there is one in the rest area coming into Ct on 84

We've overnighted at Mohegan Sun. It was okay, no problems.
But, I wouldn't want to spend a few nights there...... My wife would have bet the RV. :E

There is Frances Slocum State Park about 12 +/- miles from the casino. Frances Slocum S.P.

Most of the campgrounds are 30 miles away. Probably not what you're looking for.
