We're in the same boat but we're looking to be snowbirds for the first time next year. We're finding (Even in Central inland Florida) we can't book a year in advance. We have to wait until Spring and we aren't guaranteed a spot. We're being told we can make a deposit now and be put on a list only. I guess the RV Parks wait to see if their current snowbirds are going to book for the next year before they head back North. The ones that don't, leaves a site open to rent to someone off that list. I'm finding it a difficult pill to swallow to send a deposit to 2-4 places only be put on a list but I guess that's how it's done.
