We are at Mayo Clinic for some tests and have quite a few down days with nothing going on. Just wondering what is interesting to do in this area? Thinking about going to the Miss River but don't know ...

The National Eagle Center in Wabasha is a must if you are in the area! The town is also an interesting place to visit and do a bit of browsing and/or shopping. There was a very nice campground at a small Motel on the south side of town. It would be a great place to spend a few days as you wait/recover. Wish you luck, and good health!
Check out the SPAM museum, and the resturant across the street for a SpamBurger. Go a bit further west to Blue Earth and see the Jolly Green Giant!
