We travelled through both areas within the last 10 days. Everyone has covered Hot Springs pretty well, we did drive down to Crater of Diamonds to dig for a diamond, we didn't find any but it was fun. We also entertained ourselves in one of the oldest spa's in Hot Springs, can't think of the name but there a several in a row. In Dallas we went to Dealy Plaza and the 6th floor museum and took the JFK bus tour. Very interesting, we spent over 2 hours going through the museum. We ate at the Gas Monkey Bar n Grill, very good food, friendly staff and knowledgeable about the Gas Monkey garage crew. We went to Billy Bobs bar and grill but went to early in the afternoon so there was no live entertainment. We found Dallas fairly easy to get around in. We stayed at the KOA in Arlington which was a good, clean campground. Have fun!!
