Awesome food everywhere. X2 on Prejeans just off I49 and I10. Also historic Café Vermillionville on Pinhook Rd. in Lafayette.
If the state parks and commercial parks are closed from damage you may have to shift north a bit. My opinion the best bets would be Coushatta Casino north of Lake Charles and Paragon Casino near Marksville. Neither are near anything. You should check frequently for updates. You may want to look further south. Morgan City, Houma, etc. We like Lakeside RV in Livingston when we are just passing through. I assume they are flooded though.
