- JohnRaExplorerWe have stayed at Moorings in Belfast:
http://www.mooringscamp.com/
It was tight getting in with my 35 foot fiver, but the view was really nice. - paulcardozaExplorerAnother vote for Bar Harbor KOA Oceanfront CG. Not inexpensive, but as good as it gets for the Bar Harbor / Acadia area.
Someone mentioned Normandy Farms, but that CG is an MASS, not Maine. - fil564ExplorerHadleys Point near Bar Harbor worked for us
- Rangerman40ExplorerParadise Park in Old Orchard Beach, or Blackwoods in Acadia.
- Mr__CamperExplorerThanks for the tip. I've already placed the name in our next New England trip.

I think there's a law in Maine that all campgrounds must be family friendly. We tried once to find one that wasn't and had to give up Plan A.
After spending Hades Week in Bayleys, we found Wild Duck Adult only campground nearby.
No kids. Bliss.

- mdcampingExplorerLoads of campgrounds in the OOB area which cater to familys. check out these 2 towns, Scarborough & Old Orchard Beach for the campgrounds that might fit you needs.
We've been up there a few times, our favorites were Bayley's, Hid'n Pines and Paradise Park! :C
