The road to the CG off of 40 is not steep at all. It is a short ride on a windy road. Inside the CG the roads are steep but no big deal...IMHO and I'm a flatlander with a 35' gasser. I did unhook the car before going to the site. Going to the very to is worth it. As OP said it is attention getting on the way down.
