So I thought that campground was 1st come 1st served but I guess not. My question is they have availability todsy on NP website dsys open. So if someone doesn't show we can take a chance and go there ...

It's always been first come, first served. Has that changed recently?
**Correction, I just checked the website and it is now reservation only 5/1 - 10/15. Hmmm. May be due to the influx of campers now.
Because this is a new policy there, I would email them since no phone number is listed - YELL_Information@nps.gov
