Many BLM campsites open

After some checking, (I know that at least one was open, I was there). Many BLM campsites are open.
They have notices posted that there are no services, garbage will not be collected, etc. If you have a real issue, call the local authorities, etc.
It sounds like, if the campground has a "gate" it might be closed. If it does not it might be open
  • BoonDocks are open. go remote.

If you carry it in, you can carry it out.

BLM Parks in Oregon and Washington states are closed!

All the ones we go to don't have gates. and all the guards are home not getting paid.
  • We're in one in Utah.....BLM, open. May run out of Toilet paper, but we'll be happy to buy our own, and haul our waste out, too. :) Reminds me of the days BEFORE the government took over most all the campgrounds.
  • If it was the Heisenberg Ranch do you think you would be camping there? I can assure you that I would play the market and prices would be UP!
