Maroon Bells

Will be there is a few days.

In earlier years we backpacked into the wilderness there a couple of time. Once up to Squaw Pass and then over the Buckskin Pass down to Snowmass Lake at the base of Haerman Peak. Great Days!

Not near the area at the moment, will be near there in a few days but wasn't planning on being in Aspen.

However, not sure how much time you've spent near the Bells but if you get the chance and can do the hike, hike the trail past Maroon Lake to Crater Lake. Some fabulous views on the hike to Crater Lake looking back as I remember from when I climbed North Maroon Peak. Incredible area to explore when away from the standard touristy area near the bus drop-off.

Fixed it - just hard to beat perfect! All through the Mountains, but just love this site and those shots.
