Memorial Day weekend, where will you be?

Some of you have wonderful plans for your holiday. We are retired so don't travel on national or Canadian holidays. We plan to visit my husband's dad's gravesite to pay our respects and add our annual flowers from our yard (Memorial Day peonies and lilacs). We plan to leave next week to spend about a week in Olympic National Park the attend/photograph my cousin's daughter's wedding. She met her husband when her car broke down; he was the AAA tow truck driver. We will come home, finish putting in the garden (beans/squash) then leave again for 2 weeks in Eastern Oregon. Whew! Then I am off again July 3rd via Amtrak to visit New York relatives then shoot a 4 day rock festival on the way home. August will be quiet.

Will be at home, going to the local Memorial Day Parade on Saturday and maybe do some clamming too. Got to mow the yard also. Have found over the years that staying home on our nice 5 acres is more relaxing than fighting the crowds on holiday weekends, besides gas just went up another 10 cents in the last two days.

Normally we do not go out on Memorial Day weekend. This year we will be at Nickerson SP on Cape Cod.

Finishing up securing the house and packing the FW for Alaska.

At our deer camp floating around on air mattress in the Little Missouri River! Or at least soaking my toes!

I will be working, where I am every other weekend. LOL
