Memphis in August, hot hot hot humid,humid, humid.That being said if you are towing a toad the best place to stay around here is Tom Sawyer Park in West Memphis or Shelby Forest State Park a few miles north of Memphis .If no toad then you are pretty much locked into Graceland Rv Park.There are too many good BBQ places to list.Most of them are local places that tourists don't know about .I live next door to. SFSP and it gets a lot of overnite stays.It is easy access from I40 and not bad from I55.Good luck and safe travels .
