Depending on your direction north from Albuquerque the road is endless. I would do a loop making stops along way if you can. Head to Monument valley and Four corners, thru Mexican Hat, Valley of Gods, Bluff, to Mesa Verde, Durango, down to Chama (Also has scenic train), Ghost Ranch, Santa Fe, Cerrillos, Madrid, you may never want to go back to where you came from..lol. Enjoy.
