Mesa Verde National Park

Looking to visit Mesa Verde in August. Any suggestions on a good campground or any other points of interest we should see? Would want a campground with cell service to make sure we can stay in touch with the kids, and be able to get cable or a Direct Tv signal.
  • There is a very nice private campground right across from the entrance to the park. Mesa Verde RV Resort.
  • We have scheduled a rally for Sept. 2017 at the Ancient Cedars campground which is right across the highway from the entrance to Mesa Verde. Here is the website: Link
  • I was there last week. Stayed 2 nights in the park campground. $15 to enter the park and $31.44 per day. There are 2 dump stations but no hook-ups for RV. They have diesel pumps, showers, laundry at the office area. We just drove the roads and visited the free places.

    Morefield Campground

Copy and paste these gps coordinates into google map and it will show the morefield campgound. click on satellite view to see layout and loops. Deer are not afraid and come close to campground. 37.30207, -108.41899
