I assume you mean one of the Great Lakes. There are a number of state park campgrounds situated on the Lake Michigan shore that offer access to miles of sandy beach, hiking trails, and dunes, as well as plenty of private campgrounds. My own opinion is that the stretch from Warren Dunes SP north to Ludington SP has the best swimming beaches in the state.
