Parts of Michigan sorta do close down in winter! I remember traveling on I-75 one winter and suddenly needing to 'go' really urgently. No problem, rest area ahead. Oh wait... it's closed for winter!!! Well, ya gotta, ya gotta... know what I mean? So I wheeled around up the exit ramp and did what I had to do. Desperation... but I don't feel bad because, doggone it, they should keep those places open!!
