Looking for National Parks or National Forest sites in Michigan with electric hook up or campsites that you can run a generator at night. any info would be helpful. Have not been able to find anything...

Why only a National Park or National Forest? Most all of the state parks at a minimum offer electric sites and there is typically one located around the National Park(s) or National Forests if one of those is your destination.
If you don't have a specific destination in mind, I am sure that by sharing what you like to see or do and when you plan to travel would generate plenty of suggestions on where you should camp.
