Weather can vary year by year. Being at altitude in the Rockies I would guess you could see sunny warm days, cool to cold nights. But you could also see snow. Likely there could be snow still on the ground in the surrounding mountains for sure, but also down on the valley floor. Watch the mountain weather this winter. If snow pack is heavy expect some camp grounds to be closed until early July. - agesilausExplorer IIIA lot of folks don't realize that YNP is at high altitude 8000 ft. And it's also further north than the great circle route parks. So it is somewhat cooler in general, this year in June it had a max of 78 deg F and a min of 48. Picking a year at random, 2000, it was almost exactly the same. However it can and will snow any time it feels like it. We have been snowed on twice on the 4th of July there, years ago. But we aren't up there most years. Summer snow doesn't usually last long tho.

I too was going to suggest checking historical weather information, so I tried this page, and it's a little finicky, so try this one instead. You may have to reenter the month. Highs in the 60's, lows in the 30's in June. Lovely camping weather! - 2gypsies1Explorer IIIHere's the national park's web site with weather information. Explore this site for lots of good information on roads, campgrounds, special alerts, opening dates, things to do, etc.
We all know how weather changes. There's no given. Bring warm clothes and blankets. Be prepared.

- CroweExplorerWas there in June, 1984. There was still lots of snow on the ground and it was chilly.
